Can bug screens be installed on skylights?

Yes, skylight bug screens are similar to those designed for vertical windows. Constructed of fine mesh within a metal frame, they fit the interior skylight frame. When the skylight is open, the screen prevents insects from entering while still allowing ample natural light and fresh air.

Do all VELUX skylights include bug screens?

All vented VELUX skylights are equipped with bug screens at no additional cost. The screen is shipped in a separate box from the skylight, and the installer inserts it into the frame during installation.

How are VELUX skylight screens removed?
